Momentary Contact Decorator Switch for Garbage Disposals, Garage Door Switch

The ENERLITES 92145 is a commercial grade momentary contact switch designed to provide power when needed. By pressing the switch for as long as necessary, users can access power easily. This switch is perfect for a variety of applications such as garage doors, garbage disposals, window louvers, gates, and more.

Constructed from durable polycarbonate thermoplastic, this switch is built to last and can withstand impacts. It is suitable for use with a range of voltages, including 120-277VAC, with a 15A capacity. The switch is single-pole only and is UL listed for safety and reliability.

Featuring a decorator commercial grade design, this momentary contact switch has a spring release paddle with snap action contacts for quick power interruption. The shallow body design fits standard junction boxes and can be wired from the back or side with #14 AWG push in wires. It includes break-off plaster ears, a grounding screw, and has device dimensions of 2.76” in height, 1.40” in width, and 1.12” in depth excluding the mounting yoke.

This switch is ideal for use with low voltage ceiling sensors to override or control sensor activation as needed. It can also be used to cut power to garbage disposals in the presence of utensils for added safety. Additionally, it works seamlessly with ENERLITES MPC-50V, MPC-50L, and MDC-50L models.

For the best fit and color coordination, it is recommended to use this switch with ENERLITES wall plates such as SI8831-W, 8831-W, 8831M-W, or 8831O-W. Installation is simple with included wiring instructions, and the switch comes with a 1-year warranty for added peace of mind. The switch is UL listed with a flammability rating of UL94 and a V2 rating.
